Originally founded in 1960 by John Biard and Dave Crockett (a direct decendant of legendary Davey Crockett), the company has earned a solid reputation for quality and honesty over the years. With the postwar building boom in Orange County in full swing, the original focus was new construction track and custom homes. Later ventures included apartment complexes as well as commercial and high rise work.

In the late 1960’s a service division was established to handle the rapidly growing demand from the residential side. As the service division grew, it became clear that the new construction and service divisions could no longer operate under one roof. In 1972, the service division relocated to a building on Tustin Avenue in Orange, California where a parts department and showroom were added in addition to the offices and warehouse. After 27 years in this location, the need to expand mandated another move.

In 2001, the company moved into its current 8000 sq. ft. location. The building was designed in-house and completely remodeled to better serve the service and retail needs.  The larger showroom now includes several functional displays and a substantial parts counter. From this location we service all of Orange County and offer convenient shopping for those preferring to choose their own fixtures. We provide advice and a wide range of parts for the “do-it-yourselfer” as well.

The expert craftsmanship and top notch customer service that began in 1960 is now being carried on by a second generation. John Biard passed away in 2004. Dave Crockett began devoting his energies solely to the new construction division in 1983 and has since retired. As we approach our 50th year, we are thankful for the loyal clients who are familiar with our service and look forward to forging new relationships in the future.
